New year, same vision. This year, we will continue to work to make supply chains more collaborative and frictionless. Every day we learn new things about the industry, but also realize that there is still a lot of work ahead of us.

We have already achieved a lot: Every month, thousands of companies trust us and already use TradeLink for their delivery reconciliations and appreciate the new collaborative form of communication. Only thanks to the many feedbacks and assistance of our customers, a continuous further development of TradeLink is possible. That is why we would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have confidence in us and are committed to the logistics of tomorrow.

With 2023 upon us, there are more challenges ahead if we are to drive collaboration in logistics. But before we hit the ground running, let's review the special moments of the past year.

4-fold growth in usage and new success stories

Few things are as gratifying as when our customers are able to solve operational problems at Sites through more efficient delivery coordination. The success of our customers fills our entire team with pride. It is all the more gratifying to make the successes visible to others as well. One example: the filmed success story of SportScheck and FIEGE.

On our website you will find success stories from our customers Denner, Traveco and Debatin. Perhaps your company is already the next to make history on our website!

More than 60 new product developments on the platform

In 2022, the focus was on the further development of our platform. With more than 60 new features, we are able to map unfulfilled and new processes in warehouse logistics in a simple digital process . Three significant enhancements stand out in particular: With the check-in terminal, it is possible for the first time to digitize the administratively complex truck identification and ramp assignment. Furthermore, from now on, notification and delivery information can be automatically transmitted to the company's own ERP system via an API interface. And you can quantify your operational key figures around Sites with the first Sites- and performance analyses.

Collaboration in logistics as a key success factor

Looking back, we can see that companies are determined to move closer together and are joining forces. Collaboration in delivery coordination is therefore becoming more and more important. In order to further promote collaboration in logistics, we are now an integral part of the Open Logistics Foundation.

Our collaborative approach was welcomed at leading industry events such as LOGIMAT, Deutscher Logistik Kongress or Logistics Summit in 2022. We were equally pleased to have the opportunity to exchange ideas in smaller rounds such as at the Club of Logistics in Hamburg, the freie Brauer Treffen in Neumarkt or the numerous digital events. The Deutsche Verkehrs-Zeitung (DVZ) also invited us for an interesting interview. We are looking forward to the event season in 2023!

Successful financing round as a promise for expansion

In mid-2022, we reached a significant milestone as a young company. Insight Partners from New York, a well-known software investor, joined our existing investors Point Nine and Fly Ventures, as well as other industry leaders such as Alexander Doll (former CFO of Deutsche Bahn), David Nothacker (CEO Sennder) and Stephan Kniewasser (former CEO Transporeon, TeamViewer) to invest a further €12 million in the expansion of TradeLink.

The successful financing round shows that especially in turbulent times, supply chain collaboration needs a pragmatic and efficient solution. We will remain true to our mission statement and continue to develop the simplest and most effective platform for your coordination processes around Sites . In doing so, we will actively invest the fresh capital in expanding the product and broadening our team to improve your reconciliation processes and prepare logistics for the future.

A look behind the scenes - Company events and corporate culture

Internally, we also look back on an intensive and successful year. The TradeLink team has grown and now consists of 65 people working on the common vision from 3 continents, 9 countries and more than 30 cities.

The TradeLink team in Leipzig, November 2023

To strengthen the team and cooperation, we relied on our proven Company Onsites in 2022. In May, the team met in our dream destination Tuscany. In December, we swore ourselves in for 2023 near Leipzig and are looking forward to the new year as a highly motivated team.

2023 - The perfect year for collaborative logistics

The past three years have been very challenging for logistics. Supply chains have been turned upside down and delivery coordination has been characterized primarily by delays and failures.

But all this has strengthened the industry: it is moving closer together. Steffen Reiners (logistics control SportScheck) is certain that "it is important to network even more closely with your logistics partners in order to simply be able to react faster and more flexibly."

The year 2022 was a successful year for our customers and ourselves, but in 2023 we at TradeLink want to go one better. To this end, we will soon be making new product developments available on the platform, such as the mapping of groupage and improved collaboration with all supply partners. We look forward to continuing existing collaborations, but also to all those who want to join us.

Once again, we want to give logistics and you the stage you deserve. Because at the end of the day, you are the ones who sustain our daily coexistence year after year.

With this in mind, here's to good cooperation and a successful start to a great 2023,

Frederic
